Should I ask a travel creator for exclusivity?
Only for a defined window around a launch, and only with a fee. Travel creators work with multiple properties and boards every year, and a request to avoid other hotels or destinations for months will end the conversation. If you need them not to feature a direct competitor property in the same city during your campaign, name it, keep it to 30 days or so, and put it in the agreement. Usage exclusivity on the footage itself is a separate clause worth negotiating.
