Why teams switch

Your creators posted. Now what did you get?

Most UGC programs are tracked in a spreadsheet of video links. Someone copies view counts in on Fridays, works out CPM with a formula, and asks in DMs who has been paid.

A sheet full of links

Every new video means another row, another copy-paste, and numbers that are out of date the moment you finish.

Views without context

40K views is a hit for a nano creator and a miss for a 500K one. Raw numbers don’t tell you which videos broke out.

Paying without the math

Flat fees, per-video rates and CPM deals all mix together, so nobody knows the real cost per view or who is still owed.

What’s inside

Every video, measured against the creator who made it. So you know what broke out, what it cost, and who to book again.

Spot the videos that break out

Videos at 9x a creator’s own median are viral, 24x+ high viral. See the split across every video in a campaign.

Know your real CPM

Set each creator’s fee as flat, per video or CPM. Spend, CPM and cost per engagement work themselves out.

Run campaigns as collections

Group creators, decide which videos count with match terms and dates, and set a CPM goal, budget and posting target.

How it works

From handle to CPM in four steps.

Start with the creators you already work with. Pro tracks 25 of them.

  1. 01

    Add your creators

Add creators straight from the Creator CRM, or paste TikTok and Instagram handles or profile links. Their public videos come in with views, likes, comments, shares and bookmarks.

    • Track 25 creators on Pro, 100 on Premium and 300 on Ultra or Enterprise
    • Works for your own creators, competitors’ creators or accounts you study for inspiration
  2. 02

    Group them into a collection

A collection is a campaign. Match terms decide which videos count (a hashtag, a product name), start and end dates set the window, and targets give you something to measure against.

    • CPM goal, budget and posts per week
    • Filter any view by collection, accounts, platform and 9 date ranges
  3. 03

    Read the overview

One chart for views, engagement, likes, comments, shares or bookmarks, cumulative or per day, with modules for the videos and creators behind the numbers.

    • Most viral videos, virality median, duration analysis and top accounts
    • Engagement breakdown, posting schedule, metrics breakdown, payouts and video stats
  4. 04

    Settle payouts

Set each creator’s fee and track their payout from Not set to Pending, Approved, Paid or Assumed paid. Spend, CPM and cost per engagement update with every refresh.

    • Stats refresh when you open the tab and the data is older than 12 hours
    • Hit refresh any time you want the latest numbers

Reading a creator

Judge every creator against their own baseline.

The Accounts tab puts each creator’s numbers side by side, scaled to their own audience, so a 3K nano creator and a 40K micro creator can be compared fairly.

  • Views gained, average and median views, and average views against follower count
  • Viral rate (9x+ the creator’s median), high viral rate (24x+) and outlier videos
  • A health score from 1 to 10, plus engagement and posting activity against your target
  • Fee, spend, CPM and cost per engagement for every creator in the collection

Paying creators

See what every view cost, and who’s been paid.

Fees, spend and payout status sit next to performance, so the conversation about rebooking a creator starts with the numbers instead of a hunch.

  • Fees as a flat amount, a rate per video or a CPM rate, set per creator
  • Payout status per creator: Not set, Pending, Approved, Paid or Assumed paid
  • Spend and CPM for the whole collection, checked against your CPM goal and budget
  • Creators come from your Creator CRM, so rates and deals stay in one place

How the numbers work

Public stats, your fees, honest refreshes.

Here is exactly where each number comes from and when it updates, so you know what you are reporting on.

What it doesn’t do

  • No scheduled daily refresh: stats update when you open the tab or press refresh
  • No Slack or Discord alerts, and no public share links
  • No milestone bonuses
  • Instagram and TikTok only, and not available through the developer API
  1. 01

    Public stats on public videos

Views, likes, comments, shares and bookmarks come from each creator’s public TikTok and Instagram videos. Nothing to connect, and creators don’t need to grant access.

  2. 02

    Refreshed when you look

Opening the tab refreshes any data older than 12 hours, and the refresh button pulls the latest numbers on demand. There is no background schedule, so a tracker you never open doesn’t update.

  3. 03

    Viral is relative

A video is viral at 9x the creator’s own median views and high viral at 24x+. That keeps a 5K creator’s breakout from being buried under a 500K creator’s average.

  4. 04

    Your fees, your math

Spend comes from the fee you set per creator: flat, per video or CPM. CPM and cost per engagement are worked out from that spend and the public stats, and payout status is whatever your team marks it.

Questions, answered

Creator Tracking questions, answered.

Still deciding? or message us.

What is Creator Tracking?

UGC creator tracking inside UGC Agent. You add TikTok and Instagram creators, group them into collections, and see views, engagement, viral rate, CPM and payout status for every video they post, across Overview, Videos and Accounts tabs.

How often do the stats update?

When you open the tab, any data older than 12 hours refreshes, and you can press refresh for the latest numbers at any time. There is no scheduled background refresh, so stats are as fresh as the last time you or a teammate looked.

How do I add creators?

Add them from your Creator CRM, or paste TikTok and Instagram handles or profile links. Creators don’t need to connect an account or grant access, because tracking uses public stats.

What counts as a viral video?

A video is viral when it gets 9x or more the creator’s own median views, and high viral at 24x or more. Measuring against each creator’s median means small creators’ breakouts show up, instead of being drowned out by big accounts.

How are spend and CPM calculated?

You set each creator’s fee as a flat amount, a rate per video, or a CPM rate. Spend follows from that fee and the videos in the collection, CPM is spend per 1,000 views, and cost per engagement is spend divided by likes, comments, shares and bookmarks.

How many creators can I track?

Pro tracks 25 creators, Premium 100, and Ultra or Enterprise 300. Every plan gets the full feature set, including collections, payouts and every overview module.

Can I track creators who don’t work for me?

Yes. Collections can be a campaign, a set of competitors’ creators, or accounts you follow for inspiration. To study a competitor’s whole program, open it in UGC Brands, which maps every creator account posting for the brand.
