Home UGC rates in 2026

A typical home UGC creator charges $150 per 15 to 30 second video, with most quotes between $100 and $250. That is our rate model applied to the median home creator in our 7 October 2026 index snapshot, at 1,226 followers. Top-quartile creators (2,844+ followers) are still nano tier, so quotes cluster tightly.

2026 planning estimates from our calculator model and public rate cards. Follower figures are real, from our 7 October 2026 index snapshot. The niche factor is the influencer engine's Parenting & home group (1x). Production columns are our UGC rate model, which prices by follower tier only: it has no niche or country input. Posted columns are our influencer engine at platform-typical engagement, organic use and no exclusivity. How these rates are modelled.

How home compares

Home creators are smaller than the index as a whole. The median home creator has 1,226 followers against 1,680 across all 26,791 UGC-qualified creators, 27% fewer, which ranks home 15th of the 18 niches we price by median following. 15% of home creators have 5,000 or more followers, the point where our model moves a quote from nano to micro, against 22% index-wide.

The spread inside home is moderate: the top quarter starts at 2,844 followers, 4.8 times the bottom quarter's 589. Both ends of that middle half sit in the nano tier, so the production quote for most of the niche is the same $150 figure. The variation you see in real home quotes comes from the brief, not the audience.

Home sits in the influencer engine's Parenting & home group at a factor of 1, the same as the lifestyle baseline, so a sponsored TikTok video from a 10,000-follower creator prices at $100 here as anywhere. Neither model charges a home premium. At the niche median the engine's platform floor of $60 applies, which is why the posted columns barely move across the bottom three rows.

Of the 1,478 home creators in our index, 1,408 are on Instagram and 70 on TikTok (4.7%). TikTok home creators have a median of 1,347 followers against 1,216 on Instagram, 11% higher. The TikTok segment is too small to get its own rate page.

37% of home creators list a portfolio, against 34% index-wide, so more of this niche can show finished work before you commit to a rate. The deepest markets are the United States (902), the United Kingdom (225) and Canada (16).

What moves a home quote

Home and homeware is the best value niche in UGC and the least understood. The content is a person using a thing in their own house, which means no location fee, no wardrobe, no travel, and a setup that already exists. Briefs here should land at the bottom of every range on this page, and when they do not it is usually because the brief asked for a room that looks like a catalogue.

How the room has to look

The single biggest price driver in home content is styling. Asking for a decluttered, neutral, well lit room is asking for half a day of tidying before the camera turns on. Accept a real house and the quote drops to the low end of the range immediately.

Assembly and install

If the product needs building, plumbing in or mounting, that is labour before the shoot and it belongs in the quote. Price it as a longer video with the raw footage add-on, because the assembly clips are usually the most useful footage you get and the part your editor will actually use.

Before and after

Cleaning, storage and organisation products live on the before and after, which means two shoots or a staged mess. Either is more work than a single demo. Brief one or the other, not a vague transformation, and you will keep the total near the typical figure.

Briefing and negotiating home UGC

Say the room, the light you expect, and whether an untidy background is acceptable. Then name the single demo moment: the drawer closing, the stain lifting, the box opening. Home briefs go wrong when they describe a feeling about a house rather than an action with a product, and the correction always costs a reshoot.

Order in batches. Home creators can film three products in one afternoon in one room, and the second and third cost you far less than the first because nothing has to be rearranged. This is also the niche where organic only rights are a genuine option to start with, since a lot of home content earns its keep on the product page rather than in paid.
