Finance UGC rates in 2026

A typical finance UGC creator charges $150 per 15 to 30 second video, with most quotes between $100 and $250. That is our rate model applied to the median finance creator in our 7 October 2026 index snapshot, at 1,374 followers. Top-quartile creators (4,235+ followers) are still nano tier, so quotes cluster tightly.

2026 planning estimates from our calculator model and public rate cards. Follower figures are real, from our 7 October 2026 index snapshot. The niche factor is the influencer engine's Finance & B2B group (1.35x). Production columns are our UGC rate model, which prices by follower tier only: it has no niche or country input. Posted columns are our influencer engine at platform-typical engagement, organic use and no exclusivity. How these rates are modelled.

How finance compares

Finance creators are smaller than the index as a whole. The median finance creator has 1,374 followers against 1,680 across all 26,791 UGC-qualified creators, 18% fewer, which ranks finance 13th of the 18 niches we price by median following. 23% of finance creators have 5,000 or more followers, the point where our model moves a quote from nano to micro, against 22% index-wide.

The spread inside finance is wide: the top quarter starts at 4,235 followers, 7.5 times the bottom quarter's 564. Both ends of that middle half sit in the nano tier, so the production quote for most of the niche is the same $150 figure. The variation you see in real finance quotes comes from the brief, not the audience.

Posted rates are where finance carries a premium. The influencer engine puts finance in its Finance & B2B group at a 1.35x factor, so a sponsored TikTok video from a 10,000-follower creator prices at $140 against $100 at the lifestyle baseline. Production rates carry no niche factor at all. At the niche median the engine's platform floor of $60 applies, which is why the posted columns barely move across the bottom three rows.

Of the 474 finance creators in our index, 411 are on Instagram and 63 on TikTok (13%). TikTok finance creators have a median of 1,673 followers against 1,312 on Instagram, 28% higher. The TikTok segment is too small to get its own rate page.

41% of finance creators list a portfolio, against 34% index-wide, so more of this niche can show finished work before you commit to a rate. The deepest markets are the United States (227), the United Kingdom (59) and Australia (4).

What moves a finance quote

Finance UGC carries compliance risk, and the price reflects it. A creator talking about a card, an account or an app is making statements that a regulator may read, so scripts get locked, disclosures get added, and revision rounds get counted. The production is simple; the approval is not, and that is what you are paying for above the figures on this page.

Disclosure and script lock

A locked script with approved disclosure language is the cheapest way to buy finance content, because it removes the creator's risk of guessing. An open brief in this niche produces either a decline or a defensive quote at the top of the band.

Revision rounds

Legal review in finance rarely lands in one pass. Write the number of included rounds into the brief and price additional rounds explicitly. Unbounded revisions are the largest hidden cost in this category and they are not in any rate card.

Personal financial claims

Anything implying a return, a saving or an outcome raises the creator's exposure and is often refused at any price. Reframing the brief around the interface, the fee structure or the onboarding experience keeps the quote near the typical figure and keeps the video shippable.

Briefing and negotiating finance UGC

Attach the approved script or the approved claim list with the brief, name the disclosure wording, and state the revision count. Then keep the creative direction light: in finance the creator is buying certainty from you, not the other way round, and a brief that provides it gets better quotes than one that promises creative freedom.

Pay for the first video properly and reuse the approval. Once a script and a disclosure are cleared, the second and third video from the same creator are cheap because the expensive part is done. This is the niche where a locked three video order at the typical figure beats a single video negotiated to the low end.
