Pets UGC rates in 2026

A typical pets UGC creator charges $150 per 15 to 30 second video, with most quotes between $100 and $250. That is our rate model applied to the median pets creator in our 7 October 2026 index snapshot, at 1,053 followers. Top-quartile creators (1,899+ followers) are still nano tier, so quotes cluster tightly.

2026 planning estimates from our calculator model and public rate cards. Follower figures are real, from our 7 October 2026 index snapshot. The niche factor is the influencer engine's Lifestyle group (1x). The engine has no pets group, so this is the baseline. Production columns are our UGC rate model, which prices by follower tier only: it has no niche or country input. Posted columns are our influencer engine at platform-typical engagement, organic use and no exclusivity. How these rates are modelled.

How pets compares

Pets creators are smaller than the index as a whole. The median pets creator has 1,053 followers against 1,680 across all 26,791 UGC-qualified creators, 37% fewer, which ranks pets 17th of the 18 niches we price by median following. 10% of pets creators have 5,000 or more followers, the point where our model moves a quote from nano to micro, against 22% index-wide.

The spread inside pets is narrow: the top quarter starts at 1,899 followers, 4.4 times the bottom quarter's 431. Both ends of that middle half sit in the nano tier, so the production quote for most of the niche is the same $150 figure. The variation you see in real pets quotes comes from the brief, not the audience.

The influencer engine has no pets category, so posted rates here use the lifestyle baseline factor of 1: a sponsored TikTok video from a 10,000-follower creator prices at $100. Treat it as a starting point for a niche the engine does not single out. At the niche median the engine's platform floor of $60 applies, which is why the posted columns barely move across the bottom three rows.

Of the 164 pets creators in our index, 140 are on Instagram and 24 on TikTok (15%).

62% of pets creators list a portfolio, against 34% index-wide, so more of this niche can show finished work before you commit to a rate. The deepest markets are the United States (119), the United Kingdom (15) and Spain (8).

What moves a pets quote

Pet UGC is priced around the fact that the talent does not take direction. A creator can control the light, the angle and the product, but not whether the dog looks at the camera, so the honest unit of work is attempts rather than minutes. Creators who deliver reliably in this niche are good at editing around unpredictability, and that is the skill you are paying for.

Animal cooperation

Every extra behaviour you specify multiplies the attempts. Eating on cue is easy, looking at the lens on cue is not, and a trick is a separate skill entirely. Price behaviour requests as extra deliverables rather than expecting them inside a single video.

Breed and size specificity

A named breed narrows a small pool to almost nothing, which is the fastest way to turn a nano brief into a mid quote. Describe the size and coat type you need for the product to read on camera, and leave the breed open.

Safety and ingestion

Anything the animal eats, wears or is bathed in raises the creator's caution, and rightly so. Provide clear safety information with the product. A brief that answers the safety question up front gets quotes near the typical figure; one that does not gets declines.

Briefing and negotiating pets UGC

Describe the animal you need by size and temperament, not breed, then name the single behaviour the video depends on. Say whether the owner can be in frame and whether a voiceover is acceptable, because voiceover rescues a lot of footage where the audio was a barking dog. Include safety details for anything consumed or worn.

Order two videos and accept that one will be the better take. This niche has real delivery variance, and buying attempts is cheaper than rebooking. The raw footage line is also unusually useful here, because the usable moment is often not the one the creator built the edit around.
