Fashion UGC rates in 2026

A typical fashion UGC creator charges $150 per 15 to 30 second video, with most quotes between $100 and $250. That is our rate model applied to the median fashion creator in our 7 October 2026 index snapshot, at 1,783 followers. Top-quartile creators (4,816+ followers) are still nano tier, so quotes cluster tightly.

2026 planning estimates from our calculator model and public rate cards. Follower figures are real, from our 7 October 2026 index snapshot. The niche factor is the influencer engine's Beauty & fashion group (1.1x). Production columns are our UGC rate model, which prices by follower tier only: it has no niche or country input. Posted columns are our influencer engine at platform-typical engagement, organic use and no exclusivity. How these rates are modelled.

How fashion compares

Fashion creators are larger than the index as a whole. The median fashion creator has 1,783 followers against 1,680 across all 26,791 UGC-qualified creators, 6.1% more, which ranks fashion 8th of the 18 niches we price by median following. 24% of fashion creators have 5,000 or more followers, the point where our model moves a quote from nano to micro, against 22% index-wide.

The spread inside fashion is moderate: the top quarter starts at 4,816 followers, 5.5 times the bottom quarter's 872. Both ends of that middle half sit in the nano tier, so the production quote for most of the niche is the same $150 figure. The variation you see in real fashion quotes comes from the brief, not the audience.

Posted rates are where fashion carries a premium. The influencer engine puts fashion in its Beauty & fashion group at a 1.1x factor, so a sponsored TikTok video from a 10,000-follower creator prices at $110 against $100 at the lifestyle baseline. Production rates carry no niche factor at all. At the niche median the engine's platform floor of $60 applies, which is why the posted columns barely move across the bottom three rows.

Of the 1,831 fashion creators in our index, 1,646 are on Instagram and 185 on TikTok (10%). TikTok fashion creators have a median of 1,571 followers against 1,802 on Instagram, 13% lower. That gap is large enough to price separately: see TikTok fashion UGC rates.

39% of fashion creators list a portfolio, against 34% index-wide, so more of this niche can show finished work before you commit to a rate. The deepest markets are the United States (642), the United Kingdom (367) and Spain (70).

What moves a fashion quote

Fashion UGC is priced per look, not per video. A try on with four outfits is four changes, four setups and a longer edit, and the creator will quote it that way even if your brief called it one video. The cheapest fashion brief is the one that names the number of looks before it names the budget.

Number of looks

Each outfit change is a unit of work. Two looks in a 30 second video is a fair ask; six is a lookbook and should be quoted as a photo set plus a video, not squeezed into one line. Count the looks, then price the matching deliverable.

Fit and sizing honesty

Briefs that ask a creator to state a size, a fit or a measurement are asking them to stand behind your sizing. That is worth paying for, and it is also the content that converts. Expect the upper half of the band, and give them the size chart in the brief so they are not guessing.

Returns and keep terms

Whether the creator keeps the garment is part of the price, not a courtesy. A keep deal on a high value piece can replace a meaningful share of the cash fee. Say it explicitly, because an assumed keep is the most common source of a fashion deal souring after delivery.

Briefing and negotiating fashion UGC

State the number of looks, whether the creator keeps the items, the aspect ratio, and whether you need sizing spoken on camera. Then say what the first two seconds should show. Fashion is a niche where the hook is almost always the reveal, so if you want a specific reveal, brief it rather than hoping for it and paying for a hook variation later.

Buy the photo set alongside the video. The shoot is already set up, the wardrobe is already on, and the marginal cost of stills is small, so the combined price beats booking them separately by a wide margin. If the quote is still high, reduce looks before you reduce the usage term: usage is what makes the asset worth having.
