How many views does a UGC video get?

The typical brand UGC video gets about 751 views: that is the median across 11,849 videos from 46 creator programs posted 1 August 2026 to 30 October 2026, while the average is 78,407 because a few videos reach millions.

Average views

9.3%their program's median
100,000+ follower accounts

  • Half of brand UGC videos get fewer than 751 views. The 929M views in the sample are concentrated in a small share of videos.
  • Creator size moves the median most. median views run 502 (under 1,000 followers), 1,000 (1,000 to 10,000 followers), 1,680 (10,000 to 100,000 followers) and 39,650 (100,000 followers and over).
  • Programs that post the most have low medians. The 10 programs with 300 or more videos in the window all have a median under 5,000 views.
  • About 1 in 11 videos breaks out. 9.3% reached 10x their program's median, and 6.0% of 30-day program videos passed 100,000 views.

Views by creator size

Creator size makes the biggest difference to raw views of anything we measured. The median video from an account under 1,000 followers gets 502 views; from an account over 100,000, 39,650.

Views differ most by program

A raw view count mostly measures the brand and the creators it picks. Program medians in the sample run from 186 to 2.7M views:

Programs by their median views per video
Program median viewsProgramsVideos
Under 1,000149,053
1,000 to 10,00082,097
10,000 to 100,0003242
100,000 and over21457

The high-volume programs sit at the bottom: StudyFetch 587, Cantina 614, Anara 571, Celsius 895, Alani Nu 1,188, Wispr Flow 874, Poppi 1,578, Locket 523, Dr. Squatch 1,628 and Rise Science 762 (median views, 300 or more videos each). Many small app programs post a few videos from bigger accounts and sit in the hundreds of thousands (21 programs with under 40 videos have a median over 100,000). Compare your videos with your own program's median, not with someone else's.

Views by video length

Longer videos get more raw views too: the median 15 to 30 second video got 588 views, 60 seconds to 2 minutes 2,021. Against their own program's median that is 0.87x and 1.82x. See how long a UGC video should be.

What counts as a good result

  • Use your own median. 1.00x is a typical video for your program; anything above it beat your baseline.
  • Count breakouts. We call 10x your median a breakout: 9.3% of videos get there, so a program posting 50 videos a month can expect a handful.
  • Read the first week with care. Views keep climbing after posting; the most recent videos in any snapshot are undercounted.

Method

Sample: 11,849 brand videos with a public view count, posted 1 August 2026 to 30 October 2026 by 46 fully scanned programs in the UGC Brands database (84.6% TikTok). Views are public counts on each program's measured date. "Reached 10x" compares each video with its own program's median over the window. The 100,000-view share comes from the 30-day windows of all 121 published programs (7,637 videos). Full method: UGC video benchmarks 2026.

Limitations

  • Organic views only. The platform ad label marks some videos as boosted; see the boosted posts answer.
  • Most programs in the sample are apps; consumer brands carry less weight.
  • Videos posted in the last days before a measurement have had less time to collect views.
