What it does model is the part that is actually negotiable. Our engine starts from 12 dollars per thousand followers for a TikTok video, adjusts for creator tier and for your engagement rate against a TikTok typical of 5%, then applies the format, the usage rights, the exclusivity, the niche and the market. Every multiplier is visible in the breakdown under the result, so you can argue with any of them.
TikTok money calculator
Estimates what you could charge a brand for a TikTok video or carousel, and what the same work is worth as UGC production, from your follower count, engagement rate and the rights you grant.
How the TikTok figure is built
Followers in thousands, times 12, times a tier factor, times an engagement factor, times a format factor, times usage, exclusivity, niche and market factors. The tier factor is 1 under 10,000 followers, 0.85 from 10,000 to 100,000, 0.7 to 500,000, 0.6 to a million and 0.5 above that. A floor applies so a small account is never priced at almost nothing.
Formats scale from a video at 1: a photo carousel is 0.6, a Story is 0.3, and a series of three videos is 2.55, which is less than three because one session covers all three. The engagement factor scales halfway toward the ratio of your rate against the 5% platform typical and is capped between 0.6 and 1.6, so one viral month cannot double your quote and one quiet month cannot halve it.
The typical figure is then bracketed at 70% and 140% to give a negotiating band. That band is wide because inbound demand moves real quotes more than any formula: a creator with brands in their inbox holds the high end, and a creator pitching cold usually does not.
Why the UGC number is often the bigger one
The second figure the calculator shows is what the same work is worth as UGC: a video you make for a brand to run in their own ads, with no posting on your account and no audience attached. Our UGC model prices a 15 to 30 second video at $150 typical under 5,000 followers, $225 from 5,000 to 25,000, $375 to 100,000 and $650 above that.
Below roughly 25,000 followers the UGC figure usually beats the brand deal figure, because your audience is not yet the valuable part but your ability to shoot and edit is. That is the single most useful thing on this page for a smaller account: the same afternoon of work is worth more sold as production than sold as reach, and it is repeatable in a way that a viral post is not.
Our own index supports that reading. We hold 24,032 UGC-qualified Instagram and TikTok creators with a median of about 1,400 followers, 1,639 of them on TikTok. Brands buying UGC are buying production they distribute themselves, which is why the median is that low and why follower count is a weak predictor of who gets hired.
The lines that raise a TikTok deal
Usage rights. If the brand will run your video as a Spark Ad or in paid media, that is a separate right. Our influencer engine multiplies the post rate by 1.4 for three months of paid ads and 1.8 for twelve. On the UGC side it is cleaner: 25% of production for 3 months, 50% for 6, 100% for 12, and 30% for whitelisting.
Exclusivity. Agreeing not to work with competitors is worth 1.25 at 90 days and 1.5 at six months on our engine. Keep the category definition narrow and the term short, because a broad clause costs you every adjacent deal for the length of it. And raw footage, at 30% of a UGC video fee with a floor of $50, which is close to free money because the files already exist.
What this calculator will not tell you
It will not tell you your Creator Rewards income, your TikTok Shop commission or your affiliate revenue, because those depend on payout rates and conversion figures we cannot verify and would not guess at. It will not tell you what a specific brand will pay, because that is set by their budget and their alternatives rather than by a formula.
What it gives you is a defensible starting position with the arithmetic attached, which is worth more in a negotiation than a number you cannot explain. Treat the typical figure as your opening quote, the low figure as your floor, and the breakdown as the answer to the question of why.
Questions people ask
How much money can I make on TikTok with 25,000 followers?
From brand deals, our engine puts a 25,000 follower TikTok video at $255 typical, band $180 to $355, at the 5% platform typical engagement rate. As UGC production the same creator sits at $225 typical per video in our UGC model.
Does this include TikTok Creator Rewards payouts?
No. Platform payout rates vary by country and month and we have no verified figure for them, so we model only the money a brand pays you directly. Any calculator quoting a fixed cents per thousand views is guessing.
Is UGC or a brand deal worth more?
Below roughly 25,000 followers, usually UGC, because you are selling production rather than reach. Our UGC model puts a video at $225 typical at that size, and it is repeatable work rather than a one off post.
