What it does

  • Turns a plain-English brief into a live search across public Instagram and TikTok profiles, instead of filtering a fixed roster.
  • Enriches the useful candidates with follower counts, public contact signals, and visible content evidence.
  • Classifies available public contact details as personal, creator-owned domain, likely agency, or unknown.
  • Scores each creator against the brief on an explainable 15-point scale, with the reasons attached.
  • Deduplicates candidates against creators already saved in the workspace.
  • Saves qualified creators into named lists that persist across campaigns.
  • Exports a list as CSV, or sends leads straight into an Instantly or Smartlead campaign, skipping leads already present there.
  • Drafts outreach emails, campaign briefs, hooks, and UGC scripts from the same workspace.
  • Runs the same operations from an LLM client over MCP, from your own product over the developer API, or on a schedule through recurring automations.
03

What it does not do

These are the limits, stated plainly so nobody has to discover them after paying.

It does notWhat that means in practice
Host a browsable creator rosterThere is no catalog to shop. Every search runs against public profiles at request time, so results reflect the brief rather than who signed up.
Contract, negotiate, or pay creatorsRates, contracts, invoicing, and payment stay with you and happen outside the product.
Guarantee a reply or a deliveryA retained lead is a qualified prospect based on public evidence. It is not a booked creator, and response, acceptance, and content quality are not promised.
Handle content rights or licensingUsage rights, exclusivity, and whitelisting are negotiated by you in your own agreement with the creator.
Approve creative or publish contentCreative direction, revisions, disclosure, publishing, and paid-media decisions remain yours.
Access private accountsDiscovery and enrichment use publicly available profile data only. No private data, no access controls bypassed.
Produce the videosUGC Agent finds and qualifies the people. It does not film, edit, or deliver finished assets.
04

What comes back for each creator

FieldWhat it contains
Handle and platformThe public profile and whether it was found on Instagram or TikTok.
FollowersThe follower count at the time of enrichment, used for size banding rather than as a quality signal.
Contact signalAny public contact detail found, classified as personal, creator-owned domain, likely agency, or unknown.
Fit scoreA score out of 15 with the reasons that produced it, so a human can overrule it. The scoring methodology is published.
Content evidenceThe visible proof behind the match, such as UGC positioning in the bio, pinned product demos, or a linked portfolio.
List membershipWhich saved list the creator belongs to, and whether the workspace has seen this profile before.

06

What it is best for

Best when the creator you need is not on a marketplace

Marketplace supply is whoever listed there. If the brief needs a specific niche, city, language, follower band, or content format, live discovery reaches profiles a closed roster does not contain.

Best when you want to own the outreach

Public contact signals are classified and exported, so the conversation happens in your own inbox and your own sequence tool rather than in a platform message thread.

Best when the brief is specific

The more precise the requirements, the more the fit score and its stated reasons save. A vague brief returns a vague list on any tool.

Best when the list gets reused

Saved lists, deduplication, and enrichment persist between campaigns, so the second campaign starts from the first one instead of from zero.

Best when sourcing should run where you already work

Premium exposes the same operations over MCP, so a brief can be run from Claude, Codex, Cursor, or another compatible client without opening the web app.

Best when volume is the constraint

Screening a few hundred profiles by hand is the part that does not scale. That first pass is the work the product removes.

07

When to use something else

UGC Agent is not the right answer for every creator problem. These are the cases where another category of tool removes more work, and many teams run both.

  • You need finished videos to a spec by a deadline, and do not want to manage creators at all. A managed production service fits better. See the Billo comparison.
  • You want to browse fixed packages, order, and pay in one place. A marketplace fits better. See the Collabstr comparison.
  • You are running a large ongoing creator program that needs audience analytics, affiliate tracking, contracts, and payouts in one system. An influencer marketing platform covers steps this product does not. See the GRIN comparison.
  • You want strategy, casting, and campaign management done for you by people. That is an agency, and the tradeoffs are covered in agency versus platform.

Full model-by-model context is in the UGC platform comparison and the comparison hub.

08

Who uses it

Brand-side operators rather than creators. The product is built for the person buying UGC, not the person making it, and it has no creator-facing signup, job board, or application flow.

The common profiles are DTC and ecommerce marketers sourcing creators for paid social, agencies running sourcing for several clients, and SaaS or app teams that need demo-style content. Sector-specific detail lives on the industry pages, and named results are documented in the customer stories.

09

Rights and lawful use

Discovery and enrichment use publicly available profile information. You are responsible for how you contact the people it returns, including compliance with applicable marketing and data protection law in your market and the platform terms of the network you found them on.

Contacting a creator is a business proposal, not a licence. Content rights, exclusivity, usage windows, and disclosure obligations are settled in your agreement with the creator. How product claims and editorial content are checked is set out in the editorial policy.

10

Common questions

Is UGC Agent free?

There is a free tier that does not expire. It shows three creators per search and allows 50 new creator leads per month, which is enough to judge result quality but not enough to run a campaign. Paid plans start at $29 per month and include a three-day trial.

Is UGC Agent a marketplace?

No. There is no roster to browse and no creator applications to review. Searches run against public Instagram and TikTok profiles from your brief, and the product does not handle contracts, payment, or content delivery.

Which networks does it cover?

Public Instagram and TikTok profiles. YouTube, Twitch, Pinterest, and other networks are not covered.

Does it give me creator email addresses?

It returns the public contact details a profile exposes, and classifies each one as personal, creator-owned domain, likely agency, or unknown. Not every creator publishes a contact, so no tool can promise an email for every result.

Can I run it from ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor?

Yes, on Premium. The MCP server is a Streamable HTTP endpoint tied to the signed-in account, with setup guidance for Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, Cline, and other compatible clients. Details are on the MCP page.

Who is behind it?

UGC Agent is built and reviewed by the UGC Agent team. Product questions, corrections, and methodology questions go to hello@ugcagent.app, or through the contact page.
