What the sample shows about Owala's program

A sample can show who the creators are and how their posts are marked. It cannot show how often they post or how the whole program performs, so those numbers are left out rather than estimated.

  • Established creators, not new accounts. The median creator has 26K followers and 9 of 44 with a known count have over 100,000. Owala works with people who already have an audience.
  • A program hashtag ties the creators together. 44 of 44 counted accounts used one of the program hashtags (#owalaambassador on 39 posts, #owalapartner on 9 posts).
  • Creators on both platforms. We attributed 22 accounts on TikTok and 22 on Instagram. That split reflects how deep each search went, not the program's real platform mix.
  • The program is live. 35 of the 49 sampled posts were published in the 90 days to 28 October 2026, the latest on 25 October 2026. The search included a last-month pass, so this shows the program is active, not how often creators post.
  • Sampled TikTok videos drew a median of 2.5K views. The 26 sampled videos drew 476K views between them and 2 videos passed 100,000. That is a lower bound on the program's reach, not its total.

Owala's per-video pay is not public. For typical rates by creator size, see our UGC rates benchmarks.

Who the creators are

Follower counts are each account's public count on 28 October 2026. 100% of accounts with a detected language post in English. Of the 22 accounts with a known location (mostly TikTok post locations), 100% posted from the United States.

How Owala creators mark their posts

Across the 49 sampled brand posts, the most common marker is program hashtag (98%). Of the posts that carry a program hashtag, 46% also carry #ad, #sponsored or a platform paid-partnership label. The search looked for these markers, so read the mix as which signals creators use, not as a disclosure rate.

Paid markers on 49 sampled brand posts (a post can carry several)
  • Brand program hashtag (for example #brandpartner)98%48 posts
  • Platform ad or paid-partnership label only31%15 posts
  • #ad, #ads or a local-language ad tag14%7 posts
  • Generic #partner, #ambassador, #gifted or #collab tag8%4 posts
  • Promo or discount code for the brand2%1 post
  • No marker in the caption or label2%1 post

  • Program hashtag on 1+ videos100%44 accounts
  • Ad disclosure on brand videos48%21 accounts
  • Bio says the account posts for the brand2%1 account
  • Repeated brand mentions in category context2%1 account

Owala's creators are easiest to find by the program hashtag: 44 of 44 counted accounts used one. The brand name alone never attributes an account, because brand names collide with common words, other products and personal names. US rules on this are summarised in FTC disclosure and paid partnership; program hashtags across 61 brands compares naming conventions.

Format and caption hooks in the sample

The most common length of the sampled TikTok videos is under 15 seconds (42% of 26 videos with a known length), and 0 are slideshows. By caption, the leading hook types are benefit or result claim (14%) and routine, food or workout moment (6%), across 49 sampled posts. With a sample this size, read these as the shape of the program rather than precise shares.

Video length, 26 sampled TikTok videos
  • Under 15 seconds42%11 videos
  • 15 to 30 seconds35%9 videos
  • 30 to 60 seconds12%3 videos
  • 60 seconds and over12%3 videos

  • Question4%2 posts
  • Tip, hack or how-to4%2 posts
  • Relatable reaction or POV4%2 posts
  • Story, skit or prank2%1 post

Hook type is classified from the opening line of each caption. On-screen text and the spoken hook are not public data, so this is the caption hook only. For how hooks are scored in paid social, see hook rate, or draft your own with the UGC hook generator.

Where the data is thin

  • This is a sample, not a census: 26 TikTok videos and 23 Instagram posts. Most accounts were read for one or two brand posts, so posting cadence, active accounts, hit rate and dedicated accounts are not reported on this page.
  • View figures are lower bounds: public view counts on the sampled TikTok videos only. Instagram hides view counts from logged-out visitors, so Instagram posts carry no view figure. That is unknown, not zero views.
  • Posts were found by searching for paid markers (#ad, paid-partnership labels and program hashtags), so the marker mix on this page shows which markers creators use, not how often the brand's creators disclose.
  • Web search surfaces bigger, more-viewed accounts more readily than small ones, so this sample likely over-represents established creators compared with a full scan of the program.
  • The oldest brand post in the sample is from February 2023. The program may be older; this is the earliest post we found, not a launch date.
  • 3 more accounts mention Owala without a program marker. They are listed as "possible" in the app and left out of every number here.
  • Owala's per-video pay is not public, and public view counts include any paid boosting.

Method

UGC Agent searched the public web for TikTok videos that carry Owala's program hashtags or tag @owalalife with #ad, #sponsored or a paid-partnership label, read 26 TikTok video pages from counted accounts, and searched Instagram for posts that tag @owalalife with the same markers. A language model screened each post for a paid relationship with this brand and removed other companies with the same name. Every account was then scored on public evidence with the same confirmed, likely and possible rules used across the dataset, and only confirmed and likely accounts are counted.

The fully scanned brands in the dataset read up to 40 recent videos per account and report complete 30-day windows. Owala was measured from a sample instead, which is why this page reports creator size and markers but no cadence, activity or total views. Read the full rules in the dataset method.
