Upfluence quotes per module with a 12-month minimum; Vendr reports a $15,000 a year median among its buyers.

Short answer

The biggest difference today is commitment: GRIN is month to month with public prices, Upfluence is a year with a quote. Feature lists overlap more than they differ.

Pick GRIN if

you want to start free or at $200/month, avoid an annual contract, keep an unlimited CRM and let an AI agent do metered work on credits.

Pick Upfluence if

you want a fixed annual platform fee, a dedicated account manager, Amazon, Magento, WooCommerce and BigCommerce integrations, and 1099 and W9 forms with payouts.

Where UGC Agent fits

Neither is built for sourcing UGC creators for ads. UGC Agent finds Instagram and TikTok UGC creators with public emails from $29/month.

Honest trade-offs

Where GRIN is better, and where Upfluence is

Where GRIN is better

  • Public prices, including a free plan with no time limit.
  • No annual contract or minimum commitment.
  • Unlimited CRM contacts on every plan.
  • Escrow-backed contracting built in.

Where Upfluence is better

  • A larger searchable creator database (14M+ against a 700K+ network).
  • Native integrations for Amazon, Magento, WooCommerce and BigCommerce.
  • US tax forms handled with payouts.
  • A dedicated account manager for every client.
Cost

What a year costs

GRIN's Growth plan at $500/month is $6,000 a year, and Scale at $1,000/month is $12,000, both cancellable monthly. Upfluence's typical annual contract, per Vendr, is $15,000, committed for 12 months. GRIN's older annual contracts, which Vendr still reports at a $27,150 median, predate its public plans.

Credits change the comparison. If Gia does a lot of work for you, you may need more credits than a plan includes; if you mostly use the CRM and affiliate links, which do not cost credits, GRIN's lower plans go a long way.

Fit

Which suits which brand

GRIN fits Shopify-led brands that want affiliates, codes and GMV tracking with flexible monthly billing. Upfluence fits brands that sell across several store platforms, want creators found among their own customers, and prefer a contracted platform with an account manager.
