TL;DR

On September 8, 2026, UGC Agent Premium moved from unlimited creator leads to 5,000 new creators a month. The pool is shared across chat searches, automations, MCP, and the API, and sourcing pauses on every surface once it is used. Premium keeps its $59 price, unlimited automations, MCP access, and five team seats. Developer API access moves to the new Ultra plan, which costs $199 a month and includes unlimited creators, unlimited automations, the developer API with the same 100 calls per day and 2,000 per month that Premium had, and ten team seats. Enterprise is everything in Ultra plus unlimited API access, premium support, and custom terms.

Premium has been unlimited since UGC Agent launched. That made sense while the product was new and sourcing volumes were small. It stopped making sense once a handful of accounts began sourcing tens of thousands of creators a month on a $59 plan, because every one of those profiles costs real money to discover, enrich, and qualify.

Rather than quietly slow the product down or add hidden limits, we are changing the plan openly. This article explains exactly what changes, when, who is affected, and what to do if your team needs more than the new Premium pool.

What changed on September 8, 2026

Premium moves to a shared pool of 5,000 new creators a month. Developer API access moves to Ultra. Prices for Pro and Premium do not change, and the change applies from September 8, 2026.

Premium stays $59 a month and keeps unlimited saved automations, MCP access for external LLM clients, and up to five team seats. The one change is the creator pool: 5,000 new creators per calendar month, counted across every surface that keeps leads for the account. Chat searches, scheduled automations, MCP tools, and the developer API all draw from the same number.

When the pool is used, sourcing pauses on every surface until the next month begins. The agent explains the limit inside the conversation, scheduled automations skip their run instead of failing, and the plan badge in the app shows how much of the pool has been used so the pause does not arrive as a surprise.

Developer API access moves from Premium to Ultra with the same quota: 100 job-creating calls per UTC day and 2,000 per calendar month, with polling and reads free. Premium API keys no longer authenticate. Accounts that build on the API should switch to Ultra to restore access; keys are workspace-scoped, so no rotation is needed after the switch.

Pro is unchanged at $29 a month with 500 new creators a month and one saved automation. Free accounts are unchanged.

The new Ultra plan

Ultra costs $199 a month, or $1,910.40 a year, and removes the creator-lead limit: unlimited creators, unlimited automations, the developer API at 100 calls a day and 2,000 a month, and ten team seats.

Ultra exists for the accounts that made unlimited stop working at $59: agencies running several client pipelines, always-on automation setups, and teams that source through the API. It includes everything in Premium plus unlimited new creator leads across searches, automations, MCP, and the API, developer API access with the 100 calls per day and 2,000 per month quota, and sharing with up to ten teammates.

Ultra starts with the same three-day trial as Pro and Premium for new accounts. Existing Premium subscribers can switch from the pricing dialog inside the app. The switch is applied immediately and prorated, so the account pays only the difference for the remainder of the current billing period.

Enterprise remains the contact-sales tier. It is defined as everything in Ultra plus unlimited developer API access with no daily or monthly call caps, premium support through a dedicated channel, and custom contracts, invoicing, and onboarding. Details are on the pricing page.

Premium keeps its $59 price with a 5,000-creator monthly pool. Ultra removes the lead cap and adds the developer API.

Who is affected

Most Premium accounts source far fewer than 5,000 creators a month and will not notice a difference. The change matters for accounts running very high volumes and for accounts using the developer API on Premium.

A typical Premium account runs a few searches a week and one or two daily automations. That usage lands well inside the new pool. If your account has never seen a monthly figure near 5,000, nothing about your workflow needs to change.

Accounts that regularly source more than 5,000 creators a month are the reason the plan changed, and they are exactly who Ultra is built for. If your automations deliver hundreds of creators a day across several campaigns, Ultra is the right plan and the in-app upgrade keeps everything running without a gap.

Accounts that used the developer API on Premium need to move to Ultra to keep using it. The API documentation at docs.ugcagent.app reflects the new access rules. Ultra keys carry the 100 per day and 2,000 per month quota; only Enterprise removes the caps.

How the shared pool works in practice

The pool counts new creators kept for the account, not searches run. Duplicates, excluded creators, and rejected profiles do not count. The counter resets on the first day of each calendar month.

A creator counts against the pool when the agent keeps it as a lead for the account. Profiles that are discovered but rejected during qualification, profiles already in the account's history, and creators on the Excluded Creators list do not count. Re-running a search that returns the same creators does not charge the pool twice.

Automations reserve creators before a run and settle the real count afterwards, so a scheduled run never overshoots the pool. If a run would exceed what is left, the automation waits for the next month instead of delivering a partial batch.

Team members who inherit Premium from a team owner share the owner's pool. Ultra team owners have no pool, so their members are unlimited as well.

Choosing between Premium and Ultra

Pick by monthly creator volume and by whether the team builds on the API. Premium fits most brand teams and small agencies. Ultra fits multi-client agencies, always-on pipelines, and anyone integrating UGC Agent into their own product.

Start with the number of creators the team can actually review and contact each month. A sourcing pipeline is only as useful as the outreach behind it, and most teams that review profiles properly land well under 5,000 a month. For those teams Premium is the right plan: the pool is generous, automations stay unlimited, MCP access is included, and five seats cover a typical brand or small agency team.

Ultra becomes the better fit in three situations. The first is an agency running recurring searches for several clients at once, where daily deliveries across campaigns add up quickly. The second is an always-on pipeline that feeds an outreach tool such as Instantly or Smartlead directly, where a paused automation would stall a live sequence. The third is any team building on the developer API, because the API is only available on Ultra (100 calls per day, 2,000 per month) and Enterprise (no caps).

Ten seats also matter for larger teams. Premium's five seats are enough for a marketing lead, a creator manager, and a few reviewers. Agencies that want each account manager on their own login usually need more, and Ultra doubles the allowance without a custom contract.

If usage sits close to the line, run Premium for a month and watch the plan badge. The pool counts only creators the agent keeps, so a team that rejects aggressively during review will use far less than its raw discovery volume suggests. Switching to Ultra later takes one click and is prorated, so there is no penalty for starting on Premium and moving up when the numbers call for it.

Why we changed the plan this way

We considered raising the Premium price instead of adding a pool. That would have charged every Premium customer for the behaviour of a few very heavy accounts, which felt wrong. A pool keeps the price where it is for the majority and asks the heaviest users to move to a plan built for their scale.

We also considered a silent throttle, where searches would simply get slower or return fewer results past a threshold. That is the kind of change teams discover through frustration rather than communication. A visible pool, a live usage badge, and a dated announcement are the more honest version, even if they are less comfortable to publish.

Finally, we chose a calendar-month reset rather than a rolling window because it is easy to reason about. Everyone knows when the counter resets, and the plan badge shows the figure in plain numbers rather than a rate.

What to do now

Check the plan badge in the app to see your current monthly usage. If you are comfortably under 5,000, no action is needed. If you are close to or above it, open the pricing dialog and switch to Ultra so scheduled runs continue uninterrupted.

If you use the developer API, create your Ultra plan first and confirm your keys continue to work. Keys are workspace-scoped, so no rotation is required after the switch.

If your company needs more than ten seats, custom limits, or a contract, book a call from the pricing page and we will scope an Enterprise plan.

Conclusion

The honest version is that unlimited at $59 was losing money on the heaviest accounts, and we would rather say so than degrade the product for everyone. Premium stays the best-value plan for most teams, Ultra gives high-volume teams a plan built for their scale, and the pool is measured in a way that only counts creators you actually keep.

Frequently asked questions

When does the Premium change take effect?

It is already in effect: the 5,000-creator pool and the Ultra-only developer API apply from September 8, 2026.

Does the Premium price change?

No. Premium stays $59 a month, or $566.40 a year, with unlimited automations, MCP access, and five team seats.

What counts against the 5,000-creator pool?

New creators the agent keeps for the account, across chat searches, automations, MCP, and the API. Rejected profiles, duplicates, and excluded creators do not count. The pool resets each calendar month.

What happens when the pool is used up?

Sourcing pauses on every surface until the next month. Automations skip their run rather than fail, and the plan badge shows usage so the pause is predictable.

What does Ultra include, and how do I switch?

Unlimited creators, unlimited automations, developer API access at 100 calls per day and 2,000 per month, MCP access, and up to ten team seats, for $199 a month or $1,910.40 a year. Premium subscribers switch from the pricing dialog in the app; the change is immediate and prorated.
